​​Katie Tucker, LMSW is a licensed clinical social worker that specializes in treating anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD) with adolescents and adults. Katie Tucker graduated from University of Michigan in 2012 with a concentration in interpersonal practice and a focus on children, youth and family. Upon graduation, Ms. Tucker became a school social worker in the Detroit area where she worked with students utilizing both individual and group interventions. Ms. Tucker recently worked as a clinician on a national institute of health study, where she treated individuals (adolescents and adults) with obsessive compulsive disorder using cognitive behavioral therapy. Currently, Ms. Tucker holds a joint appointment at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry and School of Social Work. Ms. Tucker is a clinician on a national institute of health study through the Department of Psychiatry, where she treats children with obsessive compulsive disorder, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition, Ms. Tucker is the manager of the Treatment Innovation and Dissemination Lab at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Ms. Tucker serves as clinical support for various projects that are completing mental health interventions within the community. She plays an active role in training and supervising community partners that are implementing cognitive behavioral therapy, specifically for anxiety disorders and depression. Ms. Tucker enhances her clinical skill set through continuous training and extensive supervision on effective evidence based practices for individuals with anxiety disorders.
