Payment is expected at the time of service. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
Most of our providers participate in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network (except Blue Cross Complete and Medicare Plus Blue). Our psychiatrist does not participate with insurance. Our office does not bill out of network. If your plan is out of network, we recommend that you contact your insurance carrier to see if you may submit receipts to them for a full or partial reimbursement.
While our Office Manager may provide you with an estimate of your insurance coverage, ultimately it is your responsibility to be aware of your insurance plan, its benefits, and your insurance coverage.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance company include:
*Does my insurance plan have out-of-network mental health benefits?
*What is my annual deductible and has it been met for this year?
*How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
*Do I need prior authorization?
*What percentage is reimbursed per visit for an out-of-network provider?
