Kelly Hilton, DO

Dr. Hilton is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She graduated cum laude from University of Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and completed a post-baccalaureate program from University of Oregon. Before attending medical school, Dr. Hilton worked as a research assistant at Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine, where she assisted in research projects affiliated with the CDC investigating Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. While attending Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Dr. Hilton completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship and had the opportunity to present her work at various regional and national medical conventions. Dr. Hilton completed the general adult psychiatry residency program and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Michigan, where she trained in both the adult and child Anxiety Disorder Clinics under the leadership of Dr. James Abelson, Dr. Sarah Bommarito, and Dr. Gregory Hanna. Additionally during her time in the fellowship she served as the Education Chief Resident.  Throughout her time at the University of Michigan she received training in evidence based treatment approaches including psychotherapeutic interventions and medication management for a variety of psychiatric illnesses across the lifespan. Dr. Hilton strives to create a safe, collaborative, and individualized approach with an evidence based foundation for her patient’s to meet their goals.
