Kelly Hilton, DO

Dr. Hilton is a double board-certified psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and later completed a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Oregon.
 

While attending Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Hilton completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship and presented her work at regional and national medical conferences. She went on to complete her Adult Psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan, where she developed a strong clinical interest in anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). During her residency, she trained under Dr. James Abelson, former director of the Michigan Medicine Adult Anxiety Disorders Program and a recognized expert in the field.
 

Dr. Hilton then completed a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, where she continued advanced training in anxiety disorders and OCD under the mentorship of Dr. Gregory Hanna. In recognition of her leadership and dedication to education, she was selected by department faculty to serve as Education Chief Resident.

 

Although Dr. Hilton has specialized expertise in anxiety disorders and OCD, her training includes evidence-based treatment approaches and medication management for a wide range of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan. She is committed to providing compassionate, collaborative, and individualized care grounded in evidence-based medicine, helping patients feel supported as they work toward their goals.
 

Dr. Hilton is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF).
