BFRBs

Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT) for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs): Learn about the causes and treatment for trichotillomania, compulsive skin-picking, and other BFRBs. Recommended for teens and adults diagnosed with a BFRB or anyone with a family member that has a BFRB diagnosis.

Topics include: Behavioral interventions, medications, family support and education and strategies for long-term management of urges.

SPACE

SPACE stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions. It is an evidence-based treatment method designed to help children feel less anxious by working primarily with parents and caregivers. This is especially useful if children are unwilling to participate in treatment. SPACE focuses on helping parents/caregivers increase supportive responses and decrease behaviors that feed into anxiety and OCD.

This class is for parents/caregivers of children diagnosed with ADHD or suspect their child might have ADHD. Research shows parental changes are critical for children with ADHD to be successful in learning executive function and emotional regulation tools. Even if your child is in individual therapy/school based plans, you will see significant improvements with skill changes you make at home. You will learn

If you struggle with unwanted, intrusive thoughts you’re not alone.

Join our structured OCD class focused on understanding and responding to intrusive thoughts using evidence-based strategies. This class will help you:

Understanding your Loved One's OCD/Anxiety: This class is intended for adult family members of someone (child or adult) who struggles with OCD or anxiety. Often well-meaning family members struggle with how to respond to OCD and anxiety behaviors. This class will help family members

better understand OCD and anxiety diagnosis and treatment
learn how to support their loved-one’s treatment
understand how family accommodation impacts treatment success.
