She received independent training from expert CBT clinicians affiliated with the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry and the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Amy has also completed advanced training in the treatment of childhood OCD through the International OCD Foundation’s Pediatric Behavior Therapy Training Institute. Amy has received extensive training in research-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Amy continues to develop her clinical skills while staying current with empirical research pertaining to areas within her practice.
