Angela Ayoub, LMSW
Angela Ayoub, LMSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in the treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders in children and adolescents. She completed her graduate training at the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 2012. During that time, she completed her internship at the University of Michigan Health System Department of Ambulatory Psychiatry in the Child and Adolescent Section. Following her internship, Ms. Ayoub completed advanced training through a two-year post-graduate fellowship at the Mary A. Rackham Institute University Center for the Child and Family. Ms. Ayoub currently holds a staff position at the University of Michigan Health System Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent section where she serves as a member of the anxiety disorders clinic. She is committed to and is involved in the education and training of social work students. In addition to clinical work, Ms. Ayoub is also involved in research primarily in the area of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Within the child and adolescent population, her clinical interests and specialized training are in anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders, and cognitive behavioral therapies, including exposure and response prevention(ERP) for OCD. Ms. Ayoub is committed to providing evidence-based treatment to help children, adolescents and their families learn effective skills to manage current and future symptoms.

Ms. Ayoub is not in-network with any insurance companies, and accepts private pay only. If your insurance covers out of network therapy, Ms. Ayoub can provide documentation to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Payment is expected at the time of service. Please review questions to ask about your insurance coverage here. Ms. Ayoub is also able to provide you with a proof of service receipt if you wish to submit it to your Health Savings Plan (HSP/HSA) for reimbursement.
